The Excyte Mastery Class is a web based, go at your own pace, Flow Cytometry educational platform. The Mastery Class includes 8 modules. Each Mastery Class Core Instructional Module includes a one-hour instructional video along with a downloadable Mastery Class Workbook and Presentation. After the completion of each module, Mastery Class members have the option to take a quiz. Once members have completed all 4 Module Quizzes, members can go on to access our Advanced Video Training series and test themselves with 3 Advanced Quizzes. Upon successful completion of all 7 Mastery Class Quizzes, members will be confirmed as accredited flow cytometry professionals and receive a Mastery Class Accreditation Certificate. Self-Sorting Training
Sorter training requires attending the "Art of (self) sorting" class and hands-on training with the Core Facility. This option includes both the class and the hands-on. If you wish to be trained for the FACSAria and/or the Sony SH800 please initiate the iLab request and choose the appropriate options.
FACSAria Hands-on training consists of 5 sessions, charged at unassisted sorting rates, where trainees will learn how to setup the instrument for their own experiments (you should bring your own samples), as well as troubleshooting problems when and if they occur. Appointments must be made on operator-assisted sorting instruments only (Aria-3 and Aria-51). Please do not book the S6 for training. Training and consulting material will be provided.
Sony SH800 Hands-on training consists of 1 session, charged at unassisted sorting rates, where trainees will learn how to setup the instrument for their own experiments (you should bring your own samples), as well as troubleshooting problems when and if they occur. Training and consulting material will be provided. Please book the Sony "Osamu" in ZRC for training.
