Proteomics Core

Overview of Services

The Proteomics Core Facility supports laboratory and clinical research programs at Memorial Sloan-Kettering by performing mass spectrometry based sequence analyses of proteins and peptides; generally for the purpose of identification, relative quantitation and post-translational modification (PTM) analysis.

We are currently accepting coomassie and silver stained gel bands and spots for sequencing, and coomassie stained gel bands and spots for rapid gel band ID or protein modification analysis. SILAC -based protein quantitation and TMT-based experiments are fully supported enabling large scale quantitative experiments such as global phosphoproteomics and protein interaction studies.  Information on services, instrumentation, and expert advice on experimental approaches are provided by facility staff when needed.

Services Include:

  • Rapid Gel Band Protein ID (Coomassie or Silver Stained)
  • Label Free Quantification DIA
  • Low-Abundant Sample Proteomics
  • On Bead LC/MS Analysis
  • Proximity Biotinylation LFQ DIA
  • Secretome and Bodily Fluids Proteomics
  • Tissue Proteomics
  • SILAC
  • Crosslinking
  • Immunopeptidomics
  • Multiplex IP
  • TMT Total Proteome (11, 16 and 18-plex)
  • TMT Phospho Proteome (11, 16 and 18-plex)
  • Post-translational modification analysis (phosphorylation, methylation, acetylation, ubiquitinylation, sumoylation)
  • Consultation and expert advice.
